Julianna recently graduated in May 2024 from UConn with a dual degree of a BSc in Allied Health Sciences with a minor in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a BSc in Nutritional Sciences. This is her second year with the School of Public Policy, having graduated with her Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Public Management in May 2025. Now, Julianna is enrolled full time earning her Master of Public Policy. When thinking about long-term goals, she aspires to work in One-Health – the interdisciplinary interactions between animal, plant, and human health – focusing on climate policy that addresses environmental justice issues. As a traditionally public health and environmentally focused individual, Julianna is super excited to bring a different perspective to the program, learn more about policy, analysis and evaluation techniques, and engage with SPP and outside community as she works along Ryan Baldassario in her Research Assistant role.
