Federal Employee Support
UConn’s School of Public Policy is proud to offer academic support and relief to federal employees who lost their jobs or were placed on unpaid administrative leave. This support exists to provide a pathway for federal public servants to pursue a Master of Public Administration (MPA) Executive Track, a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Public Management, or a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management.

Federal Employee Support
The School of Public Policy provides verified current and recently laid-off Federal employees with the following benefits:
- Application fee waiver.
- $2,000 tuition scholarship applied to program costs.
- Expedited application processing.
The application fee waiver and tuition scholarship apply exclusively to our Executive-Track MPA and Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Public Management and cannot be combined with any other academic partnerships. Current students adding a certificate or degree are not eligible.
For financial support seekers, the State of Connecticut offers its federal employee residents who lost their jobs or were placed on unpaid administrative leave the opportunity to file for unemployment benefits.
