Alyssa Goduti is the President and CEO of Ädelbrook Behavioral and Developmental Services.  Ädelbrook serves children and young adults who have behavioral, developmental and medical challenges with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorders, intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders.  Ädelbrook supports children and families through and array of educational and residential programs including three special educational schools, two transitional academies, residential treatment services, therapeutic group homes, community living arrangements, continuous residential support programs and in-home services.   Ädelbrook employs a team of more than 600 who work to meet the agency’s mission of helping children and families find hope and healing.

Prior to coming to Ädelbrook, Alyssa served as the President and CEO of the CT Council of Family Service Agencies. In her role at CCFSA, Alyssa represented the Council with state agency and legislative branch officials, served as an advocate for public policy initiatives that help strengthen CT’s families and helped maximize the Council’s capacity for collaboration and innovation in the delivery of high quality community services.

Before joining the CCFSA team in 2014, Alyssa served as the Vice President for Business Development and Communications at Community Health Resources where she created and implemented a strategic marketing/ communications plan and implemented business development initiatives, helping the agency expand its size, scope and visibility. Prior to her role at CHR, Alyssa worked at Connecticut Community Providers Association (CCPA), a state-wide trade association of human service providers, serving as the Vice President for Public Policy. While at CCPA, Alyssa managed a state-wide media/public relations campaign, advocated with state agency commissioners and served as a state lobbyist.

Alyssa acquired her Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Connecticut and was honored with their Karl Bosworth award for academic excellence and David Walker award for public service. She received her undergraduate degree at Providence College in political science and worked in various positions in the Rhode Island legislative and executive branches. Alyssa was honored as one of the Hartford Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2013 and is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Greater Hartford’s Quest Program. Alyssa has recognized experience in public policy, business development, media relations and management and enjoys working with students to help develop them develop expertise in nonprofit management.
