My name is Benjamin Elliot, and I am a first-year student in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program, where I will also be working as a TA for a section of the School of Public Policy’s PP 1001: Introduction to Public Policy course.

I attended Central Connecticut State University, where I earned my B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Sociology. During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in public policy, constituent services, and public service at both the federal and state levels through internships with the Hartford Office of U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, the District Office of Congressman John B. Larson, the Office of the Connecticut Secretary of the State, and the Office of the Connecticut Lieutenant Governor.

My primary policy interests include election law and veterans affairs. I am looking forward to my time at the School of Public Policy, where I will acquire the practical and professional skills necessary to become a dedicated public servant.
