Lead Revenue Specialist, Town of Mansfield
Carolina is a dedicated municipal professional with over thirteen years of experience serving the communities of Windham and Mansfield, Connecticut. Demonstrating a strong commitment to public service, Carolina has held diverse roles across multiple departments. While in these roles, contributions included significantly enhancing accessibility and inclusivity by providing translation assistance to residents and merging cultural bridges.
Her career began in Windham’s Human Services Department, followed by positions in Code Enforcement and Revenue Collection. In 2017, she joined the Town of Mansfield as a Revenue Assistant, advancing to Lead Revenue Specialist in 2023. A testament to her expertise, she holds certifications as a Certified Connecticut Municipal Collector and Certified Connecticut Municipal Official.
Beyond professional accomplishments, she is passionate about community engagement and serving those in need. She served on the Executive Board of Windham Area Interfaith Ministry (WAIM) and actively volunteers her time to support the Town of Windham by participating in various community initiatives, including food drives, fundraising events, and local festivals.
Carolina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University and is continuing her education to better serve her community. In her free time Carolina enjoys cooking and spending time with her family, friends and two Boston Terriers – Maya and Capone.
