Human Resources Generalist, City of Danbury
Christina, originally from New York, relocated to Connecticut and was subsequently hired by the City of Danbury in the Department of Human Resources and Civil Service. Prior to her role in Danbury, she worked for a large food retailer for over 19 years, where she held various positions. Her most recent role before leaving was as a District Human Resources Specialist, responsible for overseeing recruitment, onboarding, training, employee and customer engagement, as well as HR investigations for nine stores across New York and New Jersey.
Christina earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Westchester Community College in Valhalla, NY, and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Concordia College, which was formerly located in Bronxville, NY. Additionally, she completed the NGA Executive Leadership Development Program at Cornell University in June 2021.
Christina is also a volunteer for the Danbury Student and Business Connection (DSABC) and serves as a mentor to High School students. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and listening to music.
