Dajia Carr is a current UConn Master of Public Administration (MPA) student at UConn Hartford. Dajia recently graduated from UConn Storrs with a degree in Political Science, complemented by minors in Anthropology and Urban and Community Studies. She has a passion for advocacy and enjoys learning about the different communities in Connecticut and especially in New Haven where she grew up. Dajia hopes to take what she has learned at UConn back to New Haven. While she is passionate about many issues, education and immigration are two important topics for her.
