Jessica has been working with Thames Valley Council for Community Action (TVCCA) for four years as a vital member of the Energy Assistance department. She guides clients through the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) application process, which connects low-income households to supplemental winter heating resources to alleviate their energy burden in the winter months. As the primary point of contact for the Energy Assistance team in the New London office, she is a well-rounded, compassionate, and dedicated member of the organization, who prides herself on her empathy and ability to connect with folks experiencing high-stress crisis situations. She recognizes the importance of providing basic needs to each member of the community and hopes to continue her work in community action with the goal of becoming a leader in the community.
