Jonathan Galligan earned his bachelors in Mathematics from Central Connecticut State University in 2014. After being employed at the University of Connecticut in 2015 he has had many roles that have shown a progressive increase in complexity and responsibility, working for their Accounts Payable Department, School of Social Work and currently the Psychological Sciences Department which also includes three years as a manager of the University’s Travel Services department. While working at UConn fulltime, Jonathan also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with UConn’s Business School in 2020 with concentrations in Digital Media Marketing Strategy and Business Ethics and Compliance. As a part of his MBA Jonathan also was afforded the great opportunity to study abroad on two separate occasions to study international business in Great Britain and Ireland shortly after the vote from the UK that resulted in them leaving the European Union. In addition, Jonathan’s second study abroad involved studying corporate social responsibility in Europe including France and Switzerland in addition to working collaboratively with local entrepreneurs in Casablanca, Morocco as a part of the international university EM Lyon’s executive Masters of Business program.
