My name is Jordan J. Oquendo, an incoming student in the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program. I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this esteemed program and to serve as a research assistant for the Institute for Municipal and Regional Policy here at UConn.

My passion for public policy, research and community impact drives my academic and professional pursuits. At UConn, I look forward to engaging with new peers, learning from experienced faculty and immersing myself in the diverse projects and outreach initiatives that the program offers.

I am excited to contribute to meaningful research projects that can positively impact our community. This program represents a significant step in my journey toward making a tangible difference in the world and I am eager to embrace all the experiences and opportunities that lie ahead.
