Executive Assistant to the Corporation Counsel, City of Stamford

Judy Isidro Dickson is the Executive Assistant to the Director of Legal Affairs for the City of Stamford, a position she has held for over 20 years. She provides direct administrative support to the Corporation Counsel, manages staff, the department budget, reviews claims against the City and develops office policies to enhance operational efficiency. Judy handles highly confidential information with discretion and oversees the preparation of the legal component of the audit for the City’s financial statements working closely with auditors to ensure accurate case reviews. She works with elected officials, providing them with timely information and solutions to their inquiries. Interfacing with the public to assist in resolving issues is Judy’s favorite part of her job.

Judy volunteers as a member of the Supervisory Committee for Sound Federal Credit Union, formerly known as Stamford Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union. Judy has served in this position for more than 13 years, providing oversight for the credit unions’ various compliance issues.

Prior to joining the City of Stamford Judy worked as a corporate paralegal at Gartner, Inc. and as a Senior Legal Secretary at Paul Hastings, LLP. Judy holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from the University of Connecticut, go Huskies!

Judy was born and raised in Stamford where she lives with her husband Walter and their two dogs.
