Executive Assistant to the Comptroller, Office of the State Comptroller
Kass Kruh is the Executive Assistant to Connecticut State Comptroller Sean Scanlon, a role she has held since December 2022. In this capacity, Kass manages the Comptroller’s schedule, coordinates with external stakeholders, tracks legislative processes, and assists with the Comptroller’s Mental Health Subcommittee, contributing to the development of healthcare policy recommendations.
Before joining the Comptroller’s office, Kass served as a Field Organizer during the 2022 election cycle, overseeing operations for two State House campaigns. She also worked at the Connecticut General Assembly (CGA), where she held various roles, including Human Services Committee Clerk, Constituent Engagement Coordinator, and Public Health Assistant Clerk.
Kass is an alumna of Central Connecticut State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Art. During her time at CCSU, she served as the Student Government Association President, managing a significant budget and advocating on behalf of the student body.
Kass lives in Cromwell with her husband Brendan and their cat Delilah.
