Lauren Goulet

Lauren Goulet is a Legislative Analyst with the Office of Fiscal Analysis within the Connecticut General Assembly. In her current role, Lauren built and maintains an online searchable dashboard for state grants to towns.
Prior to her current role, Lauren was a Data Analyst with the Office of Institutional Research at Florida State University. During this time, she presented at both the Association for Institutional Research and Southern Association for Institutional Research annual conferences.
In addition to her current analyst role, Lauren has worked in various capacities with the UConn School of Public Policy since the fall of 2018. These roles include both research assistance and teaching.
Lauren acquired her Master of Public Policy degree and graduate certificate in Survey Research from the University of Connecticut in spring of 2020. She has since spent a large portion of her career focused on the use of data analytics and visualization and has experience with STATA, SAS, SQL, SPSS, Power BI, and Tableau. Her interests include research design, property tax, and higher education.
