Melissa Foreman is the Director of the Learning Communities Program and Assistant Director of the Office of First Year Programs, Learning Communities, the Academic Achievement Center, and Innovation Zone at the University of Connecticut. In this role, she leads the development and coordination of residential and non-residential Learning Communities that foster undergraduate student success through engagement around themes such as innovation, sustainability, public service, and cultural identity. She has served in this role for sixteen years and has held various roles at UConn for over thirty years. Melissa is also an alum of UConn where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
