Business Intelligence Associate Client Manager, NielsenIQ

Nathalia Ribeiro graduated from the UConn Master in Public Policy (MPP) Fast Track program in May of 2021. During her time in the MPP program she participated in the IPP internship program and interned at Career Resources, Inc. as a Director’s Assistant. Prior to her +1 year for her Master’s, she graduated from the University of Connecticut with her Bachelor’s in Sociology and a minor in English. She was exposed to the MPP fast track program by taking a Public Policy course as a prerequisite for her Bachelors degree. She had already enrolled for another PP course when one of the staff came into discuss the program and she knew it was a great opportunity for her future.

After graduating from the University of Connecticut, she shifted to private sector work and went onto become a Business Intelligence Analyst at NielsenIQ, working in their Beauty Vertical supporting clients in personal and beauty care. After a year and a half at NielsenIQ, she was promoted to Associate Client Manager, taking on more clients and responsibilities. Nathalia still uses the data analytic skills that she learned during her time in program on a day to day basis at NielsenIQ.

Some advice from Nathalia during your time in the program- attend all of the events you can. This is the best way to network with potential colleagues and also prepare yourself for the professional world and job interviews.
