Human Resources Generalist, Connecticut State Community College & University

Nathan works as a Human Resources Generalist for Connecticut State Community College & Universities. He serves as a college campus point of contact for over 600 employees on all initial human resources inquiries. He works directly with college leadership to guide, assist, and strategize to ensure campus policies and procedures follow all collective bargaining agreements and state regulations. He collaborates to fulfill the organizational staffing needs by ensuring the usage of appropriate job classifications, calculation of salaries, and issuing notices of appointments.

Nathan is also a member of the Army National Guard, currently holding the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He is an infantry officer working as a battalion mortar platoon leader where he is responsible for planning, coordinating, and the direction of all operations of the Platoon. Nathan deployed to the Horn of Africa in April of 2021, where he served as the shift commander of a Security Forces element serving as the Battle Watch Captain. He collaborated with NATO partners, Local Nationals, & U.S. Contractors to implement standard operating procedures to ensure the safety of the base.

Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree from Norwich University.
