Ryan Curley

First Selectman, Town of Portland, CT

Ryan is currently serving as First Selectman in Portland, Connecticut as of November 2021.  His is previous role as Town Clerk (elected in 2015), Ryan worked to improve technology and efficiency throughout his department. Prior to that role, he worked as an accountant and financial analyst for companies such as MetLife and LAZ Parking. He also served four years on the Board of Selectmen in Portland during this time as well.

Ryan graduated in 2021 with his Master of Public Administration from UConn and from Bryant University with a B.S in accounting. He is also an active member of the local Exchange Club, Lion’s Club and Knights of Columbus.
