DBE/OJT Program Manager, CT Department of Transportation

Since 1999 I have worked at the CT DOT in the Office of Contract Compliance. Presently I am the Program Manager for the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE) and the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Supportive Services Program. The goal of the DBE program is to increase contracting opportunities for minority and women-owned firms in the transportation arena. I also administer the DBE Supportive Services program which provides the firms with their technical assistance needs. In addition, as the OJT Supportive Services Manager I secure funding from the Federal Highway Administration to administer College Engineering and Construction Pre-Apprenticeship training programs.
