Our faculty are internationally-renowned researchers who study the theory, methods, and effects of public policy. They also investigate the diverse people, structures, and organizations that influence the policy decisions that impact our everyday lives. Our scholars bring their expertise into the classroom, helping to inform the next generation of leaders in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors.
Research Specialties
UConn School of Public Policy professors are experts in policy analysis and program evaluation research. They have established research programs in education policy; state and local fiscal policy; social policy; family policy; diversity policy; and the demand for public services. They also cross disciplinary boundaries by collaborating with scholars in political science, psychological sciences, sociology, and other fields in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and beyond.
