UConn Gives April 17-18 banner. The words “Investing in Future Public Sector and Nonprofit Leaders - Goals: $10,000 and 100 donors - The goal of our campaign is to help break down financial barriers to pursuing graduate education by establishing a merit scholarship fund for incoming SPP graduate students” on top. The words “Children with Incarcerated Parents Initiative Scholarship fund - Goals: $3,000 and 30 donors - Students impacted by the incarceration of a close family member or caregiver can face challenges in their everyday life – from the financial hardship of a parent losing income while incarcerated to the emotional trauma of a disrupted family life.
