Tiffany Garcia graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a minor in Journalism. She began her career in state service in 2006 with the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services before transitioning to the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) in 2015, where she began building her career in civil rights and transportation.

In 2022, Tiffany transitioned to the MassDOT/MBTA Office of Diversity and Civil Rights as a Title VI Specialist. Since then, she has taken on increasing leadership responsibilities and currently serves as Director of Title VI and Accessibility, providing leadership and oversight of MassDOT’s and the MBTA’s civil rights and accessibility programs and supporting compliance with federal and state requirements.
