Environmental Analyst, State of Connecticut's Council on Environmental Quality

My name is Ryan Carboni and I am a resident of New Haven. I currently am working as an Environmental Analyst for the State of Connecticut’s Council on Environmental Quality. This state agency annually assesses the condition of Connecticut’s environment and reports its findings annually to the Governor, advises other state agencies on environmental impacts of proposed construction projects, and investigates citizen complaints regarding the environment. Prior to this position, I worked in environmental consulting and for a public water system.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from UCONN. As a lifelong learner, I am excited to challenge myself with the curriculum provided by the Executive MPA program and hope to use this knowledge to make decisions that safeguard the environmental and public health of Connecticut.

In my spare time: I practice Historical Fencing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I also relax by reading unusual articles on Wikipedia.
