Her work involves analyzing market and macroeconomic trends to evaluate their implications for municipalities’ ability to meet debt service obligations to bondholders.
Aanya earned her Master of Public Administration (MPA) in May 2025 and her Bachelor of Arts in Health Policy with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Connecticut in May 2024. While at UConn, she served on the University’s Board of Trustees, gaining direct experience in higher education administration and policy. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Collaboration on Health, Intervention, and Policy (InCHIP) in the Gibbons/Gerrard lab, where she examined how race and discrimination influence psychosocial factors as determinants of health.
In her current position, Aanya draws on the analytical and quantitative skills developed through the MPA program. She also leverages her understanding of public finance mechanisms to assess the political, social, and economic risks faced by municipal issuers across sectors.
Outside of work, Aanya maintains an active lifestyle through tennis and yoga. She remains engaged in social advocacy, particularly through involvement with reproductive health initiatives throughout the State of Connecticut.
