Erika Peters is an Administrative and Accounting professional with experience supporting financial operations, compliance processes, and daily workflows across educational and private sector settings. She works in the Food Service Department at the Greenwich Board of Education, managing district finances and overseeing reporting, deposits, purchase orders, and data analysis for 15 schools while ensuring smooth operations and clear communication across the district.
In addition to her work with the Board of Education, Erika brings private sector accounting experience in bookkeeping, payroll, tax documentation, and general ledger management. She also gained valuable experience in front office administration, bilingual communication, and financial recordkeeping through earlier roles within Greenwich Public Schools.
Erika earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting & Internal Auditing with a Minor in Management from Pace University and holds certifications in Bookkeeping and Notary Public services. Fluent in English and Spanish, she enjoys supporting her community through organized, reliable, and detail driven work.
Outside of work, she spends time with loved ones, travels, and explores new culinary experiences. She is excited about her journey in the MPA Fellows program at UConn and the possibilities it will open for her professional growth and community impact.
