CT Careers Trainee, CT Department of Social Services

I am a Master of Public Administration (MPA) student at the University of Connecticut, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a social services professional with experience in state government, behavioral health, child welfare, veteran services, and community-based programs. I currently work for the Connecticut Department of Social Services, supporting individuals and families as they navigate public assistance programs and government services.

I am also completing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at UConn, with a focus on Individuals, Groups, and Families. My professional background includes experience with state agencies, behavioral health organizations, veteran services, and community-based programs. These experiences have strengthened my interest in public policy, leadership, and human services administration.

Through the MPA program, I hope to build on my social work and public service experience while developing the leadership and administrative skills needed to improve programs and services for individuals, families, and communities. My professional interests include social policy, human services administration, behavioral health, veteran services, and public sector leadership.
