Adilen Valentina is the Founder & CEO of Valentina Rising Institute, a leadership and workplace well-being consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations elevate leadership, strengthen workplace culture, and unlock human potential through practical, evidence-based learning experiences. As an award-winning HR leader, leadership systems designer, and national conference speaker, she partners with organizations to build healthier workplaces and develop leaders equipped to thrive in today’s evolving world of work.
Adilen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Goodwin University and is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Certified Connecticut Municipal Official (CCMO), and Certified Workplace Wellness Program Coordinator (CWPC). Drawing on more than 20 years of experience across municipal government, workforce development, and public education, she designs leadership and workplace well-being systems that translate research into practical, measurable results. She is the architect of Bloomfield Rising, a first-of-its-kind municipal Emerging Leadership Program that develops future leaders through competency-based learning, cross-functional experiences, mentorship, and real-world application.
Adilen also serves as Director of Emerging Professionals for the Northwest Connecticut Human Resources Association (NWCTHRA), where she leads initiatives that strengthen the HR profession through leadership development, workforce partnerships, and professional learning. In addition, she serves on Goodwin University’s Business Program Advisory Board, partnering with faculty and industry leaders to help shape business and workforce education for future professionals.
A recognized thought leader, Adilen has presented at the Tri-State SHRM Conference and was selected as a featured speaker for HR.com’s HR West Conference, where she shares practical, systems-based approaches to leadership, organizational transformation, and the future of HR. She is also the author of Workshops Alone Don’t Build Leaders. Systems Do: A Municipal Case Study on Experiential Leadership Development and Measurable Change, highlighting measurable outcomes from an innovative municipal leadership development model.
Adilen’s expertise in workplace well-being is grounded in both practice and formal training. She has designed and led award-winning employee wellness initiatives recognized by the American Heart Association and Cigna’s Healthy Workforce Designation and is a Certified Workplace Wellness Program Coordinator (CWPC) through WellCert. Her approach integrates leadership, engagement, and well-being as interconnected drivers of healthy organizational culture and sustainable performance.
Known for her engaging facilitation style, Adilen combines evidence-based practices, reflective learning, and practical tools to help leaders create workplaces where engagement, well-being, and organizational performance reinforce one another.
