Legislative Analyst, CT Office of Policy and Management


Alexander is a member of UConn’s MPA Fellows program. Currently, he serves as a legislative associate within the Connecticut Office of Policy and Management Legislative Affairs Division. In this role, he collaborates with the General Assembly to advance the Governor’s budgetary and legislative agenda and engages various stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of enacted laws.

During his previous decade-long tenure with the House Majority Caucus, Alexander held roles as a policy analyst and committee clerk, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to shaping Connecticut’s public policy direction. His primary focus was on Housing and Insurance policy. Additionally, as a campaign manager, he has overseen multiple House of Representative elections across the state since 2012.

Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Eastern Connecticut State University.
