Human Resources Manager, City of Danbury
Christina is a Human Resources professional with more than 19 years of experience in retail and public sector HR. She currently serves in Human Resources and Civil Service for the City of Danbury, where she supports a wide range of HR operations and employee relations functions. She is especially passionate about helping people, guiding employees and leaders through challenges, and creating supportive, people-centered workplaces.
Prior to municipal service, Christina worked for a large food retailer, advancing through multiple roles and ultimately serving as a District Human Resources Specialist supporting nine stores. Her work included recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement, and workplace investigations.
She holds an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education from Westchester Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Concordia College. She also completed the NGA Executive Leadership Development Program at Cornell University and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Administration at the University of Connecticut School of Public Policy.
Christina also volunteers with the Danbury Student and Business Connection (DSABC) as a mentor to high school students. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and listening to music.
