Dan joined the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT), Bureau of Public Transportation as a Connecticut Career Trainee in early 2017. He spent over 5 years working in the Office of Rail in Operations, and now works in the Office of Transit & Ridesharing, leading the Customer Experience (CX) unit.

Dan is responsible for the development and implementation of CTDOT’s first ever CX Action Plan for public transit customers statewide. In addition, Dan leads CTDOT’s annual bus and rail service and fare equity (SAFE) analysis, manages several fare policy and technology projects focused on integrating fare systems and improving trip planning and real time information available to transit customers.  Dan is also assisting with strategic planning initiatives for his Bureau.  Previously, Dan served as project manager of the Stamford Transportation Center Master Plan.

Dan graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Management. He is an alumni of the American Public Transportation Association’s Emerging Leaders Program, Class of 2022. Dan has received numerous employee recognition awards in his early career at CTDOT, including a Performance award in 2019, and a Customer Service award in 2020-21.

Dan is an avid golfer and passionate fan of UConn basketball.
