Director of Community Supports, Open Doors


Erin is currently the Director of Community Supports at Open Doors, a direct social service organization in Norwalk. She joined the staff of Open Doors in 2016 and now leads the community closet, food programs, children’s resource center, volunteer efforts, and in-kind donations with a team of eight staff members (and hundreds of volunteers!)

Prior to joining Open Doors, Erin worked for the Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Bridgeport under Mayor Bill Finch. She also has additional experience in the nonprofit sector as well as in political campaigns from the local to the national level. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Oberlin College.

Erin is committed to public service and is looking forward to learning new skills and growing as a leader as part of UConn’s MPA Fellows Program.
