Martin Ogwang is a civil engineer and public administrator with more than a decade of experience in structural design, public infrastructure delivery, and building code enforcement. As a Design Civil Engineer III with the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS), he plays a key role in planning, designing, and managing capital improvement projects for the State of Connecticut’s real estate and facilities portfolio. His work integrates sound engineering practice with strategic stewardship of public assets, ensuring infrastructure investments deliver long-term value, safety, and operational efficiency.
In parallel with his engineering career, Martin is pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) through the Executive Track at the University of Connecticut. His studies emphasize city/urban, regional, and community development, strengthening his ability to connect technical engineering decisions with broader public policy, infrastructure planning, and sustainable economic development. By combining engineering expertise with public administration, he is committed to advancing resilient infrastructure, optimizing public assets, and supporting thriving communities across Connecticut.
