Dr. Mohamad Alkadry, professor and department head of UConn’ s Department of Public Policy, has been appointed as chair of NASPAA’s 2019 Annual Conference, which takes place on October 16-19, 2019, in Los Angeles, California.  This is NASPAA’s 50th Anniversary conference, and Mohamad looks forward to recognizing “the 50 years of advancing excellence in public service education” as well as imaging what the next 50 years will bring. This year’s NASPAA theme is Reconstructing Governance for the Next 50 Years, which will focus on innovation in public affairs, Diversity to Inclusion to Participation, and future challenges in training students to collect, analyze, and communicate data.
