Vote November 3rd

In September we published a voter registration article that started with the words “With so many uncertainties and changes in our day to day life, one thing hasn’t changed. Tuesday, November 3rd is Election Day.”

The big day is tomorrow, and we thought we would share more quick info for those still looking to vote.

Who can vote in Connecticut?

Voter Eligibility includes:

  • Folks who are 18 before or on Election Day (Tuesday, November 3rd)
  • United States Citizens living in Connecticut
  • Convicted felons who have completed confinement or parole (more details)

The CT voter lookup tool allows you to check your current voter registration status and your polling location.

How do I register to vote in Connecticut on Election Day (November 3rd)?

Election Day Registration (EDR) is available at a designated EDR location in each town, beginning at 6am and ending at 8pm. Voters will register and vote at the designated EDR location in their town. Folks must be registered by 8pm in order to vote. They will need to provide a proof of identity and residency. How do I return my absentee ballot?

Absentee ballots can be returned in person to the Town Clerk’s Office, or via the secure drop box that the Office of the Secretary of the State has provided to each town.

All ballots must be received by the close of polls, 8:00pm on Election Day.
