Fionnuala Darby-Hudgens joined CTData Collaborative in early 2023, bringing 13 years of public service and nonprofit experience to CTData’s new social enterprise, Data Strategic Planning©. In this newer role, Finn works to help nonprofits and public agencies improve their data infrastructure, increase their data literacy, and advance their storytelling. Prior to joining CTData, Fionnuala served as the Director of Operations for the Connecticut Fair Housing Center where she raised over $11 million to advance civil rights and fair housing in Connecticut. During her tenure at the Fair Housing Center, Finn spent significant time in the state’s legislature advocating for inclusionary land use policies and practices that would promote racial integration. Previously, she worked for the Connecticut State College and University system (CSCU) implementing new developmental educational programs and facilitating the inaugural guided pathway degree programs in Connecticut. She still is on the adjunct faculty at Three Rivers Community College. Fionnuala also serves as the treasurer for the Board of Trustees at the CT Mirror. Fionnuala completed her undergraduate degree at Trinity College and earned an Masters of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Connecticut. She lives in Norwich, Connecticut with her husband and daughters.
