Nicole Sanclemente is the Community Partnership Liaison for the State of Connecticut’s Paid Family & Medical Leave Insurance Authority. In her role, Nicole conducts outreach to different communities and groups throughout the state to educate them on the Paid Family & Medical Leave program and its benefits.
Prior to joining the Authority in 2024, Nicole served as the Policy Director for She Leads Justice, formerly known as the Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund (CWEALF), where she led the organization’s policy efforts at the state legislature. Her role at the organization started in 2018 as a Bilingual Advocacy Fellow as an undergraduate student, and slowly evolved to become the organization’s Policy and Program Associate, Policy and Program Coordinator, Policy Manager, and Policy Director during her four-year tenure as a permanent staff member.
Nicole graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Community Studies, and a double minor in Psychology and Human Rights.
